The Story
Returning from school one afternoon, Victoria Gibson discovers that her adoptive father has been accused of stealing one million pounds from the bank where he works. Vicky is convinced that this is a case of computer fraud and is determined to use her incredible computing skills to prove that he is not the culprit, by hacking into the bank to find out the truth.
Vicky’s hopes are ruined when her father’s computer is confiscated the next day by his most loyal work friend. Vicky then has to find a computer to find the real cyber thief, before her father is charged and the thief escapes.
My Thoughts
This book is based on the importance of truth. From the cheats in Vicky’s school maths test to those who cheat the system, exposing them is a fast paced adventure. This is a gripping book and real page turner.
